Whittaker’s was founded over 120 years ago by James Henry Whittaker, and is now directed by his grandchildren, third-generation Whittaker brothers Andrew and Brian. The next generation of Whittaker’s, siblings Matt and Holly, also work in the business as co-Chief Operating Officers. We proudly support our suppliers with Rainforest Alliance certification for all Ghanaian cocoa, a direct relationship with the Vaa’i family in Samoa to ensure traceability, and by supporting New Zealand’s best artisan producers via our premium ‘New Zealand Artisan Collection’ range. Following a number of years of major growth in New Zealand, Whittaker’s has increased exports to Asia, Australia, North America, the Middle East and the Pacific Islands.
