For years before the doors ever opened in July of 1996, Tim McCune and his original partner, Pete Truxaw, had a vision to create a neighborhood restaurant and tavern tailored to the locals in the community. The dream was to build an upscale yet casual American themed grille, where local friends and family would come to relax and enjoy. From that dream, Salt Creek Grille was born.
