Overview
The North Side Christian Health Center (NSCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center located on Pittsburgh's Northside. Founded in 1993, the NSCHC provides comprehensive medical and dental care to insured and unisured patients without regard for an individuals to pay. Services provided includes:
Primary Care
Includes: Physical exams, immunizations, cancer screenings, disease management, small in-house procedures, gynecological exams, Healthy Women Program, Hepatitis C clinic, counseling, and sick visits.
Pediatrics
Includes: Well child visits, immunizations, vision, hearing and lead screenings.
Dental
Includes: dental exams, emergency care, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatments, restoration (fillings), extractions, prosthetics (dentures/partials), endodontic (root canals), and repairs.
Laboratory
Includes: Urine dips, pregnancy tests, infectious disease screenings, and other routine labs.
Mental Health Counseling
Includes: Individual, group, and family counseling and treatment for mental health and addiction disorders. (Provided through our partnership with a mental health agency)
Pharmacy
Includes: Home delivery, medication reconciliation, and patient assistance program (for patients without prescription insurance). (Provided through our partnership with The Medicine Shoppe and The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy)
Health Education
Includes: Diabetes, Smoking Cessation, and Nutrition
