Overview
The Office of Consumer Protection is charged with the responsibility of investigating conduct in violation of New Jersey's Consumer Fraud Act and its accompanying administrative regulations. In carrying out this function, OCP works with Division of Law Deputy Attorneys General regarding pending investigation and litigation matters and reviews and provides recommendations regarding settlements of pending administrative and civil disputes, pending legislation and proposed administrative regulations.
