In 2009, Lucy started sewing and customising small samples to sell at Spitalfields and Portobello Markets in London. When she was growing up her family worked as machinists and as market traders in the East end of London, so it was always in her blood. Our online sales grew, and we moved from our make shift office in Lucy's Mum's loft, to our first store in 2015. Since then, social media has taken off and has helped shape the structure of how we work...really responding to a 'live feed'​ from followers/customers. It's created a community that was void after the fall of the markets.
