Mercy Behavioral Health Overview
Pittsburgh Mercy, provides a full range of recovery-oriented, community-based mental health services as well as alcohol/drug treatment and prevention services. We also offer an array of programs for people with intellectual disabilities as well as support for their caregivers.
Established in 1969, Pittsburgh Mercy formerly Mercy Behavioral Health strives to empower people to overcome barriers and to lead healthy and successful lives in the community. We serve children, adolescents, adults, families, and senior citizens in more than 60 neighborhoods throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania.
The Commonwealth of PA Department of Public Welfare and Department of Health license Pittsburgh Mercy. We are funded and monitored by Allegheny County. Selected programs have been accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
