The CW-affiliate TV station in St. Louis, Missouri. KPLR-TV began broadcasting in 1959, as the first independent station in Missouri.
For over 50 years, KPLR 11 has been St. Louis' hometown station, programming a strong schedule of news, sports and entertainment. The station has top rated syndicated programs like The Big Bang Theory & Two and a Half Men and also carries 44 sporting events in a year. KPLR 11 broadcasts 17 hours of locally produced newscasts each week (with three hours on weekdays and one hour on Saturdays and Sundays).
