Interval Data Systems, Inc. was founded because of a need in the marketplace to understand energy usage on an operational, maintenance, and cost reduction basis. EnergyWitness provides a 360-degree view of a facility/campus that contains all the facts about operations, replacing today's guesswork with actionable information. This new approach to Enterprise Energy Management Systems (EEMS) separates IDS from traditional EEMS providers such as metering and building automation companies. EnergyWitness is not an extension of these traditional systems nor a competitor; rather it is a system that encompasses them and provides complimentary capabilities. IDS solutions will enhance the value and improve returns from energy investments as well as extending equipment life, reducing operational energy costs, and creating a positive cash flow. In addition to complementing installed metering and building automation systems IDS introduces an entirely new set of capabilities, applications and financial benefits never thought possible.
