Overview
Dale Pro Audio has been a distinguished leader in the Broadcast, Live Sound, Contracting, and Studio and Post Production markets since 1956. Dale carries hundreds of the pro audio industry's top brands, stocks thousands of the best products, and has an expansive store and showroom in the Jamaica section of Queens, New York.
Stanley Lager founded Dale Electronics in 1956 as a store for radio and television parts. Stanley grew up in the Bensonsurst section of Brooklyn, and with one shelf of goods and $12,000 went into business in the Meat Packing district of Manhattan (back then they still packed meat there, and it wasn't the fancy neighborhood it is today).
In the mid-eighties, Stanley's children joined the company. CEO Michael Lager, Stanley's son, transformed the company from a Sony and Panasonic parts dealer to one of the leading retailers of high end pro audio gear. Retaining its identity as a family owned and operated business, Valerie Lager, Stanley's daughter, handles the company's day to day management.
In 2014, after years of strong growth, the company opened a large Jamaica, Queens location, and in 2016 all operations were consolidated there. The Queens location has state of the art demo rooms, a large event space, and expanded warehouse, retail, and pick-up areas.
Over half a century since Stanley Lager's humble beginnings, Dale Pro Audio has grown into a key leader in the industry. Because of their commitment to excellence, Dale has earned the trust of television and radio stations, recording studios, contractors, and a wide range of individuals, businesses, and institutions across the country.
