More than 38 years of outstanding performance in the freight and cargo forwarding industry, Airfreight 2100 Inc. has indeed gone a long way. From its inception in June 21,1979 as a Customs Brokerage firm, serving mostly multinational and electronic companies, it has emerged as one of the country’s leading air express and logistics provider, serving the shipping needs of Filipinos from all walks of life.
One of the most significant turning points in Airfreight 2100 Inc.’s history was when it officially became the sole licensee of Federal Express Corporation in the Philippines in 1989. Airfreight 2100, Inc. now handles 100% of all pick-up and delivery for FedEx in the country, and was granted the sole authority to use the FedEx trademark in the Philippines. In 1997, it became the first GSP in Asia Pacific to receive ISO 9002 certification from the Lloyds Registrar’s Quality Assurance of London.
In 2010, Airfreight 2100, Inc., became a part of the country’s history after it delivered the official ballot papers to be used in the first automated Philippine elections. It was also during this time that Airfreight 2100 started using the Integrated Mobile Application using the Intermec CN3, which was powered by Smart Communications to further expand and upgrade the system of real – time tracking. The Integrated Mobile Application, which is being used by Airfreight 2100’s on-road couriers, provides real- time proof of delivery information.
Today, the company continues to provide unmatched, world-class service to its expanding clientele, prioritizing the development of innovative and up-to-date technology to ensure that Filipinos are provided with a means to take their business from one point, to anywhere in the archipelago.
